Doing good can also be fun! We at Primates For Primates strongly believe that joie de vivre does not have to contradict a sustainable way of living and helping others. To the contrary, we believe it is a powerful tool to mobilize people to address social and environmental problems.
Hence, we support institutions and NGOs in protecting primates and their ecosystems in a fun way and our goal is to be at the heart of gorilla protection.
Our story
The story of Primates For Primates started just like many success stories with some beers and a documentary about gorillas. Devastated by the problems human are causing to gorillas, we decided that we needed to take action. But what can we do to help our fellow primates? We are neither biologists, nor do we have a world changing idea that stops the exploitation of natural resources. So we kept on drinking beers. And that was the solution.
Inspired by the legendary bon-vivant Jean-Albert Fagheaux, we developed a concept that makes gorillas benefit from us drinking beer. We organize events and create a community that strives for both: joy and wildlife protection. This is the business model of Primates For Primates.
